Start me up!

Well, here goes the mandatory first post thingie. Don't have any particular theme in mind for this blog but started off with a wild inspiration from my recent trip to Kolkata. Suddenly, it struck me, why don't I create a blog recording my sentiments and experiences associated with my favorite place in the world, Kolkata. Talking about Kolkata is pretty much talking about myself too as I truly believe that this city has shaped/dishevelled my character, views etc. And talking about Kolkata or for that matter, any city in the world, is like talking about a whole gamut of things ranging from human emotions, daily lives, latest news, history, politics, whats-in, whats-outs ad nauseum. And oh, I might add a disclaimer at this point - am not a writer by any means neither do I intend to be one. Am just willing to try out this pastime with you'll being the victims. I might very well digress from this initial "theme" I mentioned in times to come or well, I might even stop posting for all you know. Let's see. I'll try.
